Seafarers’ Access

Effective June 1, 2020, the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) will begin providing seafarers transportation services to and from a vessel moored at any MPA terminal and the respective main entrance gate at no cost to the seafarer.  To request transportation, the seafarer or vessel agent must contact the MPA’s security services contractor, Allied Universal at (667)228-4633 or by e-mail at seafarertransportation@outlook.com.  Transportation will be provided within 90 minutes of receiving the request by Allied Universal between the hours of 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.  Requests for transport between the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am will require a 24-hour notice from the vessel agent barring any unforeseen circumstances.​​ If Allied Universal does not respond timely, please contact the Roving Supervisor at the following alternate number (443) 240-8652.​
