Ms. Brenda Dandy
Brenda Dandy is a co-founder and financial executive with Marine Enterprises International which was started in 1968 and based in Essex, Maryland. Marine Enterprises International manufactures Crystal Sea Marinemix, the leading artificial seawater mix used in public aquariums, aquaculture facilities, live seafood holding systems and research laboratories worldwide. The company proudly ships to its global customers from The Helen Bentley Delich Port of Baltimore.
In July 2003, Brenda was commissioned by Governor Ehrlich to serve as Vice-Chair of the Maryland Commission for Women, and in July 2005 for a term of three years, she was appointed and commissioned by Governor Ehrlich to serve on the Maryland Port Commission. This year she was commissioned by Governor Hogan in July 2015 for a term of three years to serve on the Maryland Port Commission again.
She has been a member of the Rotary Club of Towsontowne since 1996, where she has served as President, Treasurer and currently as Social Director. In addition, she is the Treasurer of The Johns Hopkins Club.
Ms. Dandy has an undergraduate degree in accounting .from Towson University. She lives in the Glen Arm area of Baltimore County with her husband.
